Drawing Vol.1, a series of artist’s books devoted to his drawings, conceived by Sébastien Girard. Alongside his work as a designer, Ronan Bouroullec draws every day. Conceived as a working sketchbook, this first volume brings together twenty-eight of his felt-tip drawings.

Entirely made in Sébastien Girard’s workshop, the book is printed on a Japanese Risograph printing machine. Production takes several weeks, as each layer of colour is printed one after another. The sheets are collated and bound by hand, on site.

In the end, it’s no longer quite a book — it’s a sketchbook. It’s Ronan Bouroullec’s sketchbook.
